ECA Annual Conference and AGM 2012

Join the ECA at their 2012 annual conference 'Changing States - Lifelong Learning in Transition' at Leicester Adult Education College on Saturday 10th November from 11.00 am – 4.00 pm.

The event will focus on a European perspective on Adult Learning, with a focus on the past, present and future opportunities for adult learning under the EU Lifelong Learning programme. Guest speakers include both Sue Waddington, President and Gina Ebner, Secretary General of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA), Mark Ravenhall, UK Coordinator for the Lifelong Learning Programme at NIACE and Jim Bradley from the University of Stirling who will talk about current Grundtvig funded 'The REAL Project' with which the ECA is also involved. There will also be the opportunity to hear from ECA representatives about the Associations work within the Lifelong Learning Programme.

Providing chances to meet representatives of the collective voice of adult educators across Europe and those who have carried out past and current projects under the programme, the event will also help delegates to find out about opportunities for adult learning within 'Erasmus for All' the new funding programme for 2014 - 2020.
