Manchester 360° has released a special Adult Learners Week e-bulletin.
The organisation brings together over 48 Manchester based organisations or organisations which are involved in the delivery of informal adult learning and is co-ordinated by ECA member LSEN (Learning, Skills and Employment Network).
Its 6th e-bulletin details forthcoming events being held across the city building up to this year’s Adult Learners Week events. The NIACE co-ordinated Adult Learners Week takes place on 15-21 May this year and is the UK's largest and longest running learning campaign. Held each May, it encourages thousands of adults, whatever their age and background, to give learning a go.
Events will begin with a range of activities across the City on Saturday 15th May and Sunday 16th May celebrating Cultural Diversity – they are keen to hear from any organisation that may have an event planned for this weekend which could be badged as a Cultural Diversity event. They are extending Adult Learners Week in Manchester to Saturday 22nd May when the WEA (Workers Education Association) will conclude the week with a range of taster sessions at the Union Chapel Wellington Road, Fallowfield.
